First post from Singapore

Well, our first day in Singapore wasn't perfect, and this post won't be either.... but, we SURVIVED!  (and I'm blogging) Roaming a new city, country, continent is pretty fun, however with two jet-lagged preschool aged children in tow, not so much.  The girls and I managed to find the subway, the bus, the grocery, and a starbucks.  Chris lunched with us at the Newton Food Center (called hawker centers) where we had some GREAT Indian for S$22 (read dirt cheap), compare our afternoon snack of juice, cheese, gluten-free cookies and rice cakes that cost S$33 from the grocery - ouch!  We checked out the grounds of our new flat - GORGEOUS.  I'm really looking forward to moving in next week.  Leto is hanging out at quarantine for 9 more days.  The girls are excited that Leto is having fun at "camp."

We are getting up for the day now and heading down to breakfast in the hotel.  I'm hoping jet-lag only gets better for everyone!
